Vigil for Life
Father John R. McFadden will conduct the Helpers of God’s
Precious Infants Vigil for Life Saturday, May 17. Following
Mass at 7 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church in Center
City, the clergy and congregation will pray the rosary at
a nearby abortion center and return to St. John for Benediction.
Rosary-Making Session
Corpus Christi Parish, Lansdale, will sponsor a rosary-making
session at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 27 in the Religious Education
Room of the church. Cost: $7 for supplies. To register,

“Heads
Up”
The Philadelphia Police Narcotic Bureau will present a real
look at teen drug and alcohol use at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May
14 at Penn Crisp Gym, 9151 Academy Road. It is sponsored
by State Rep. Dennis O’Brien and the Archdiocesan
Parish Nurse Program, and all are invited to attend. For

Concert
The Audubon Symphony Orchestra will perform its Spring concert,
“War and Peace,” at 3:45 p.m. Saturday, May

“Godspell”
The middle school students of St. Agnes-Sacred Heart School,
Hilltown, will present “Godspell” at 7:30 p.m.

St. Anne’s Senior Citizen Center will offer beginner
computer classes from 10:30 a.m. until noon, Tuesdays and

The Bishop McDevitt High School Basketball Camp for Boys,
ages seven to 14, will be held June 16 to June 20 and June

Bistro Fundraiser
St. Bede the Venerable Parish, Holland, will host Bede’s
Bistro Bonanza at 6 p.m. Friday, May 9. Proceeds from this
event benefit St. Bede the Venerable School’s computers

Silent Auction
Rosefest, a silent auction, will be held from 6 p.m. to

Mother’s Day Breakfast
St. Josaphat Parish Holy Name Society will sponsor a Mother’s

Fun Walk and 5K Run
The “Amy’s Fund” Fun Walk and 5K Run will
begin with a run start time at 8:15 a.m. and a walk start
time at 10:15 a.m. Sunday, May 18 at Holy Family University.
The event benefits cervical cancer treatment, screenings
and education provided at Holy Redeemer through the Charles

Golf Outings
• Immaculata University will host its 11th annual
Immaculata Women’s Golf Open beginning at 10 a.m.
Monday, May 12 at the Hershey’s Mill Golf Club, West
Chester. In addition to golf, events for fitness, beauty
and wellness will be offered from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
One does not need to participate in the golf open to enjoy
the other activities. Cost: $175 for 18-holes of golf, $150
for 9-holes of golf; $100 pass for all non-golf events.
