Catholic H.S. hosts Christmas party
LANSDALE — Lansdale Catholic High School will hold its second annual
“Christmas at L.C.” at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, beginning with
Mass in the school auditorium.
Father Joseph L. Maloney, president of Lansdale Catholic, will celebrate
the Mass, after which there will be Christmas caroling and a tree-lighting
ceremony — and Santa’s arrival on the school’s front
lawn.
Families will then be served pizza and light refreshments in the cafeteria.
The evening will end with a Christmas concert at 6:30 p.m., presented
by the Lansdale Catholic High School band and chorus.
The school is at the intersection of Seventh Street and Lansdale Avenue.
Dougherty seniors to perform at West Catholic
PHILADELPHIA — Courtney Armstead, violinist, and George Marques,
violist, both seniors at Cardinal Dougherty High School, have been accepted
into the All-Catholic Orchestra, which consists of students from the five-counties
of the Archdiocese. They are scheduled to perform at concerts on Feb.
16 -18 at West Catholic High School.
Christmas Concerts
• St. Justin Martyr Parish, Penn Valley, will hold a concert of
Christmas Music at 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, in the church and at 3 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 9, at Chestnut Hill College. The concert will include the
adult choirs of St. Justin Martyr Parish and St. Genevieve Parish.
• The Marcella Kochanska-Sembrich Chorus will hold a Christmas concert
at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, at the Associated Polish Home, 9150 Academy

• The Vox Renaissance Consort will perform at 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec.
