Retreat for Youth
The Philadelphia Archdiocese and ConQuest, a Regnum Christi Apostolate, will sponsor a retreat for boys up to age 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 17 at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary.
The retreat is for boys ages 8 to 11 and 12 to 15. A special category will include boys 5 to 7. Fathers are welcome but not required to attend.
Father Christopher B. Rogers, vocation director of the Archdiocese, will give a talk with his father, James Rogers: “Meet a Father’s Father.” For more information, call John Volk at (267) 250-1236.

Summer Reunion
The Millay Club of alumni of old Southeast Catholic-Neumann High School will sponsor its 14th summer reunion from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 25, at the Lighthouse Pointe in Wildwood, N.J. Proceeds will benefit boys at SS. John Neumann and Maria Goretti High School. Information: 215-389-0925.

Food Drive
Beneficial Savings Bank is collecting food items for City Team Ministries, a homeless shelter and second chance recovery program in Chester. Local residents can deposit nonperishable dry food or canned goods in a drop-off box located at any Beneficial office up until Saturday, June 10.

Hospital Award
Holy Redeemer Hospital and Medical Center has been named a winner of the 2006 Leadership Award for excellence in cardiac care from VHA Inc., a national health-care alliance based in Irving, Tex., that serves more than 2,400 health care organizations. Holy Redeemer was one of 86 VHA member hospitals to receive the award.

Cancer Screening
Mercy Hospital of Philadelphia is offering free prostate cancer screening and PSA blood test from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 28 at the hospital’s Medical Office Building, 54th Street and Cedar Avenue. To schedule an appointment or for more information, call (215) 748-9700.

Elected Chairman
William R. Sautter, a 1971 graduate of La Salle University, has been elected chairman of the Board of Trustees of the university. He has served as vice chair since 2004 after joining the board in 2002. He is currently president and CEO of Elliott-Lewis Corp.

Foster Parents
Catholic Social Services is looking for single adults or married couples to become foster parents for children of all ages, races and religions. Homes are also needed for children with special medical or emotional needs and for siblings who wish to live together. Information: 215-587-3900.

Vigil for Life
Father Edward J. Kelly will conduct the Helpers of God’s Precious Infants vigil for life Saturday, June 17. Following Mass at 7 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church in Center City, the clergy and congregation will pray the rosary at a nearby abortion center and return to St. John’s for Benediction.

Devotions
Eucharistic adoration will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, June 11 at St. Titus Church, East Norriton. ... A healing Mass will be celebrated at 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 28 at St. Anne Church, Lehigh Avenue and Memphis Street,
