In
December 2004, the RCIA leader at my parish, Shawn Mueller, introduced
the class to the Church’s teaching on the Immaculate Conception.
Though I’ve come to the conclusion that our Blessed Mother was
gently guiding me through that part of my journey, at that moment
in time, she seemed nothing more than a major stumbling block for
me.
