Prayer:
Coping with grief
during the holidays
As
the Christmas season approaches, countless miles are traversed, gifts
are carefully chosen, and favorite recipes are whipped up in anticipation
of reuniting with family and friends. But what of those people who
have recently suffered a death in the family? How will they “get
through” the coming weeks of celebrating when perhaps, the last
thing on their minds and in their hearts is a spirit of rejoicing?
